World traveller has grown up. Smart slouchy blazer, a high necked blouse, and tailored trousers (albeit they are splashed with a fun, tropical palm tree print... )
One of my signatures would probably be mixing smart pieces with casual ones. For me, the key to good style is creating interesting contrasts by juxtaposing anything from dramatic polarised pieces to items with subtle differences. I'm definitely more on the subtle scale of contrasts, however...

, y'know? So what better than some tailored cigarette trousers in a muted palm print? Understated, but still just that right amount of crazy crazy. And it can be dressed up to be more fun and adventurous if you're not quite as boring as myself: imagine it with a bright orange blouse and a huge statement necklace. The trousers become something totally different.
Speaking of understated prints, this
couldn't idealise the concept better.
At first I thought the colours would be a little bit too out-there for me, but with it's smudged painted pattern and the way the silk folds it makes the colours melt into something that is greatly sophisticated, despite it being printed with images of Australian street-art. More of the graffiti is revealed as it twists and gets blown in the wind. Being the perfect balance between sophistication and edgy.
